Friday we were looking out the window at the bird feeders when a bluebird flew up for a snack-- the first one we'd seen in long time! We had some bluebird house plans we'd borrowed from my parents, so Saturday morning, Ron got started building one!
We had several scraps from around here... The roof was formerly window trim, the sides a board from the gym, and the front was part of a rack where kids hung their stuff... That piece of the board said "Rowan" on it, so we've decided to name the bird Rowan...
Now we just have to wait for him to find his new home!
